I gave up fishing in the Mediterranean years ago, but blue-water trolling in the middle of the Pacific is s totally different kettle of fish. You can get a strike from a tasty yellow fin tuna or a mighty 40-kilo blue merlin. My biggest catch was a 25-kilo yellow fin tuna, and after that, I was not allowed to fish for a whole week.
